Hi, I am Taun and I have the never boring (aka drama filled), often challenging position of walking with the youth of our valley in their spiritual journey with God. I love working with young people although some things still remain a mystery about them to me. I don't understand the attraction to consume massive quantities of “Power Drinks” and I don't personally desire to spend more than 15 minutes playing any type of video game. But I enjoy being involved in the lives of teenagers and helping them know the grace and love of Jesus.          

 

I spend as much time as possible in the great outdoors and try to help young people to see God in His awesome creation. I love rafting, skiing, hunting and fishing although that elusive trophy buck is safe when I am in the woods. I more or less go on well armed hikes. 

 

I have two boys (Tucker and Tanner) that I love to spend time with along with their amazing mother (Cheryl) who has been my lovely wife for almost 20 years. In the words of Jack Nicholas in the movie, “As Good as it Gets,”  “She makes me want to be a better man.”
